The one time I got a 12 oz. chai, I immediately regretted not getting the next size up, so if in doubt, get the larger size! There's always a steady flow of customers on the weekends, but even if it's busy, the wait is never long at all. The indoor space is relatively small, with enough seating for maybe no more than 20-25. ”

I started drinking coffee in the late 90s on Capitol Hill in Seattle. I could walk to Vita, Vivacci, Paradiso, and Bauhaus. Social Grounds delivers that same quality coffee -- fragrant and beautifully poured -- made by good people who care about what they deliver. ”

“ We are staying at McMenamins Anderson School and this is just a quick walk. I saw it when we were driving in yesterday and decided instead of the big coffee chain, I'd rather support a local business. Let me get my two critiques out of the way first, you have to ask what alternative milks they have available, and what flavor syrups. If they had signage with both it would help guests a lot. My local small coffee shop has a list of syrups printed out for guests at the register and lists all of the milks on their menu board. That's all that I can say needs improvement. Such a CUTE space. It feels inviting as soon as you step in. It felt very much like a local spot for people who live and work nearby. I was happy to see that they had some vegan baked goods so my kids got their tummy full before we left. I prefer a more filling and healthy breakfast so I opted for the Umpqua Oats. I was pleasantly surprised to have them offer milk or water for the oats. I chose water, which I was glad after starting on them, as they were very sweet. My preference is unsweetened, but it was still very good. I asked which syrups were vegan and the staff was kind to check for me, I chose a large Oatmilk pistachio latte! It tasted like marzipan to me. I loved it. It was a bit sweeter than I would normally have, but I'm on vacation and it felt like a marzipan treat. Which is one of my favorite childhood candies. I will definitely be back tomorrow for a different flavor latte and some more oats. Love the sweet employees and cozy atmosphere. This would definitely be my spot if I were local! ”

“ I have walked past this cute coffee shop a couple times and finally tried it recently. I stopped late in the afternoon, the place wasn't crowded and I could have a leisurely lunch and enjoy some reading. I got a Ham, Egg, & Cheese turnover, and a Blueberry scone. I loved both the Ham , Egg, & Cheese turnover, and the Blueberry scone. I am already anticipating my next visit to try some of their other items. ”

“ I used to work in the Bothell/Canyon Park area in the 1990s. The transformation along Bothell-Everett Highway, but especially around downtown Bothell is amazing. I liked that there's 2 hour street parking which allowed me to check out Social Grounds Coffee & Tea late yesterday morning (12/15/21). First impressions were positive: folks onsite, festive holiday decor, full pastry case, really welcoming counter person who checked my C19 status. I had a slice of chocolate chip bread and a 16 oz mocha. Spot on mocha from the barista too. I was able to chill out for about an hour. Again, welcoming and comfortable vibe. Folks that were onsite to work on their devices or having convos both inside and outdoors. They also do a brisk takeout, including for delivery services. Lovely indie cafe near downtown Bothell. Found it via Yelp, definitely glad I stopped in, great find! ”

“ I was looking for a coffee shop in the Bothell area that had wifi and easy-to-find parking and this fit the bill! There is free 4 hour parking in the retail lot where the Six Oaks apartments parking lot is and there's also some two hour parking along the street. This is a cozy coffee shop with some small tables, some high tops, and a long table against the window facing the road. I ordered a 12oz iced latte ($4.30) which was good and fine for its purpose. During COVID, they have little signs on each table that signify whether that table has been sanitized since someone last sat there. If the sign is flipped to show red, the employees clean the table and flip it to show green. ”
